Win A Signed Lifehouse CD and Poster!

Lifehouse posterThe wait is finally over for Lifehouse fans – the band’s fifth studio album Smoke & Mirrors is on sale today!  Smoke & Mirrors, already the top-selling album on iTunes, showcases two sides of Lifehouse: songs like “Smoke & Mirrors,” “Wrecking Ball” and “Had Enough” capture the live, rock side of the band – a sound they perfected after 10 years of solid touring – while the tracks “All In,” “Here Tomorrow Gone Today” and the first single “Halfway Gone” are songs sure to be heard on the radio for years to come.  “Halfway Gone” is currently climbing Billboard’s Hot 100 chart, and is number 2 on the Adult Top 40 chart.  The music video is also number 1 this week on VH1’s fan-generated Top 20 Countdown.

Smoke & Mirrors is available now in stores and online in both a standard and a deluxe edition, which features a bonus disc with additional material.  After appearing on the Tonight Show during Conan O’Brien’s final days as host, Lifehouse will return to the Tonight Show on Thursday, March 4th to help kick off Jay Leno’s first week back.  The band will also begin a nationwide tour with Daughtry and Cavo in Baltimore, MD on March 18th. Visit LifehouseMusic.com for tour dates and details, as well as additional updates from the band.

Also, their video for “Halfway Gone” is available for FREE download on iTunes this week!

I love Lifehouse because their one of the only real bands left out there, and I got to meet them a couple times and they are the coolest people I ever met. Their music is unique and Jason’s lyrics always are a masterpiece. Where would we be without Lifehouse?

I have loved Lifehouse since they first came out! When I was in high school. I love their sound. And I love Jason Wade’s writing style. I love how he can write an emotionally powerful song that can be interpreted many different ways. Plus they seem so nice and down to earth. They treat their fans really well. They are funny too! I love their video blogs and watching interviews with them.

Ohhh! I’m not sure if your contests are open worldwide (I live in Australia) but if they are, then PLEASE include me for this one.

Lifehouse are my favourite band, I absolutely love them. So why do I love them?

Because sometimes everything seems HALFWAY GONE and life has me swinging on a WRECKING BALL. I feel like I’ve HAD ENOUGH – of the pain, of the NERVE DAMAGE and I think I can’t go on. I look to the heavens and say “ALL THAT I’M ASKING FOR is just a sign to say all hope is not lost” – then I put on my headphones, my faith going ALL IN and suddenly I’m having a NEAR LIFE EXPERIENCE – I’m falling out of the misery and FALLING IN the depths of love, understanding and hope. Because the amazing music of Lifehouse make me realise that life, well IT IS WHAT IT IS and FROM WHERE YOU ARE, wherever that may be, you just have to accept it for what it is, all of the SMOKE AND MIRRORS. The amazing melodies and lyrics encourage you to be comfortable IN YOUR SKIN and gift you with the faith that those you love will always be BY YOUR SIDE. We may CRASH AND BURN, but in an instant life can be HERE TOMORROW, GONE TODAY – and we all know, there’s no tomorrow.

Okay, after all my super awesome Smoke and Mirrors ramble, that’s my entry LOL. Thanks!

I fell in love with Lifehouse because of slower, intimate songs like “Simon”, “Somewhere In Between” and “Everything”. I felt the connection and closeness Jason had with those songs, and I found the pulsating, ethereal synths to be the perfect backdrop to his passionate delivery of their moody melodies and lyrics.

Since No Name Face, I’ve been an avid fan, a groupie, and a huge follower of their music. The amazing song “You and Me” reminds me of the guy of my dreams who died recently in an accident. I cry every time I hear this song. Lifehouse will always have a place in my heart.

Lifehouse is my favoriteeee band! There are very few bands in this decade that actually have good lyrics, and Lifehouse’s lyrics are so meaningingful. They don’t sing alcohol or profanity, istead they sing about things that really matter and will get to your heart. Lifehouse will always be a favorite of mine, and I would LOVE to see them in concert someday :)
