Google Superbowl Commercial Wins Big

1998_googleThe competition on Super Bowl Sunday hasn’t just been about the two teams on the field in years. The blood, sweat and tears isn’t only for the athletic type but also for the advertising minded. The commercials played during the Super Bowl are often scrutinized more than the play of the teams on the field. Well, this year’s commercials seemed a bit… lacking. The one that stood out to us came from the Internet juggernaut Google. The premise of the commercial was simple and fundamental to what Google is, search.

Without going into too much detail (because we think it’s better to be seen then have it be explained)… we’ll tell you that it really made us smile from ear to ear and we even saw a couple tweets that it brought tears to a couple eyes.

Check out the commercial below.

In my opinion Japan makes most of the weirdest commercials. Is it because it’s a cultural thing, or perhaps it’s another thing? Apologies for not staying on topic, I’m not trying to take away from a well done post!
