She’s got awesome hair, killer moves, and songs that are bound to make you shake it. Her debut album The Electrick Hotel is coming at you this summer so you best break out your dancing shoes. Who are we talking about? The one and only British pop songstress LOLENE!
Lolene’s electro-pop stylings (which she describes as “awkward pop”) can be heard on her new song “Rich (Fake it Til You Make It),” the lead single from her forthcoming major label debut.
“I call it The Electrick Hotel because when you put the album on, you’re my guest. I’m going to take care of you,” says the British singer, songwriter, and performer. “You’re invited to come and stay a while in my world, which I see as like a hotel where each song is a room that captures a different part of my personality and expresses different emotions. So if you’re feeling happy, you can go to the penthouse and dance to ‘Sexy People.’ If you’re heartbroken, you can visit the first-floor and have a cry to ‘Beautiful Disaster.’”
We wanted to learn more about the lovely Lolene so we had her answer our questionnaire. We’ll admit that now we’re SUPER curious about this Mac Strobe Cream since both Lolene and Elly Jackson of La Roux mentioned it as their favorite beauty product.
