We posted about talented newcomer Ashlyne Huff a while back, and we haven’t been able to get her super catchy single “Heart of Gold” out of our heads ever since. The lovely singer/songwriter/dancer has music in her blood, and she is coming out with her debut album next year. Find out what she’s hoping for this holiday season and why she is super-against re-gifting in our holiday interview below.
I actually need a new iPod. I’ve lost my 3rd Nano and I need to stop taking my iPhone to the gym…it’s dangerous!
TRAMPOLINE. I remember being so excited on my way down the stairs and no trampoline…then mom asked me to go the back yard….SCORE. All I did that day was flip and bounce…yes, it was cold. (makes me feel really smart that I thought they would try to bring an entire trampoline in the house–but I was 7, so I’ll blame it on my wild imagination.
Not Cool. I think it’s completely OK to exchange or get a new size or color of something if necessary, but there is something to be said about the THOUGHT of a gift. That’s really all it’s about anyway I think.
“Tennessee Christmas” by Amy Grant. I thought that song was especially written for me when I was a kid because it refers to LA in the second verse and I was actually born in LA and moved to TN. And on top of that, my grandfather Ronn Huff was the conductor of the Nashville Symphony for Amy’s annual Christmas show and she always sang it.
As far as new movies go, I say The Holiday. Older movies…I’d go with Home Alone (1 & 2).
Only By the Night by Kings of Leon. I know it released in Sept 2008, but it really hit in 2009…and it’s hands down my favorite.
You can’t deny Gaga!
I couldn’t say anything to be honest. I don’t think anyone’s work merits a title of “the worst”. There is something special with every album made…just ask the artist!
Hopefully mine! can I say that? I mean, it’s most anticipated for me anyway!
Low-key dinner party with my friends and family. I like to bring in the new year with a clear mind. It’s helps me get my mind right.
I should probably drink less Diet Coke. It’s a problem i think.
I adore Lady GaGa. I think she will be around for a long while. Did you know that she buys many of her outfits at a resale shop? Ya, she really does! I dig her clothes. Of course, she doesn’t get all of her clothes at consignment shops, but a lot of her stuff is used clothing. She looks super regardless of where she buys her clothing!
