CHESTER FRENCH, the hotly tipped dynamic pop act who recently released their debut album, have just released an exclusive performance as part of Zune’s “Green Room” video series. The behind-the-scenes and performance footage gives an intimate and no holds barred look at the band on stage and in their tour bus. Founding members Maxwell Drummey and D.A. Wallach met while they were both students at Harvard University and were signed by super producer Pharrell Williams (Britney Spears, Gwen Stefani, Madonna) to his Star Trak label which is an imprint of Interscope Records.
The duo combines the sophisticated melodies of classic Beach Boys with the pulsating rhythms of hip hop and swagger of David Bowie. Rolling Stone magazine listed Chester French as one of their “Artists To Watch” in their March 2008 issue. Their debut album, Love the Future, was released this April and has garnered praise from publications as varied as The Boston Globe, Vibe and Entertainment Weekly.
