This year, the multi-talented Kate Voegele released A Fine Mess, starred as Mia on the CW’s One Tree Hill and maintained a touring schedule that criss-crossed the country in support of the new album. Somehow, this lovely singer/songwriter/acress stayed spunky and upbeat along the way with constant blogs and video updates for her fans. We were so excited that Kate took some time to answer our holiday questions where she shared her love of the movie “Home Alone” and her desire to be a more aggressive parker in LA. Check out her answers below, and be sure to pick up A Fine Mess on iTunes today.
Mostly just a bunch of time with family and friends and loved ones! But I wouldn’t mind getting some over the knee boots somewhere in there as well
Definitely my first guitar from my mom and dad in high school.
Generally I have to go with not cool on this one.
“River” by Amy Kuney (cover of Joni Mitchell’s original) her voice is perfect for this song.
HOME ALONE is EPIC. Favorite movie of all time.
I feel like the obvious answer is probably “The Fame” by Lady Gaga because she’s an outrageous talent and a total badass…but right up there with her is “I and Love and You” by the Avett Brothers
Owl City. I heard a few songs of theirs over the summer and fell in love and now i can’t stop seeing Adam’s name everywhere!!
“Downtown Church” by Patty Griffin…she’s been my favorite artist since someone gave me her record at 15. She’s the artist who made me want to write songs for the rest of my life!
Not even sure yet…I just moved to LA so possibly stuffed in my Honda Civic with all of my stuff packed in driving out to the west coast…should be interesting…
Honestly? To be more aggressive about swooping in and getting a good street parking spot outside my house. I’m a midwesterner and a total rookie at the reckless dexterity that is LA driving. exciting, I know.
i love home alone too!
