Today we introduce Matt Lowell, a rising pop/singer-songwriter who just finished up some dates with Howie Day and Serena Ryder. The Berklee College of Music alum is working on his full-length debut album to follow up 2009’s “Second Storm EP.” Lowell is working with some great songwriters & producers including Joan Osborne (remember her?).
We think he sounds like a combo of Mat Kearney, Snow Patrol and John Mayer…and we like it. Listen to “Day Two” below and let us know if you’re digging his sound.
I love Matt Lowell! I saw him perform at the Night Cat, in Easton MD, with Josh Hoge and Tony Lucca, 2 other great talents! Matt is an awesome singer and every song he sings has a great story.
Saw Matt Lowell perform at B.B.King’s in Manhattan. He is one terrific new star on the horizon. He is also a handsome guy….like Elvis! I look forward to attending another of his performances soon!
