@Barb. I was there. I doubt you actually saw the SXSW show, because if you had, you’d know Emii was very sick during that time (and she still performed). It’s a downside of live music, but it’s commendable no less. Perhaps you prefer your plastic packages strung along by industry puppeteers. You won’t find that with Emii.

Yeah I saw the sxsw showcase too. She sounded like garbage and had no charisma. She needs a better stylist too. Generic. Boring. Yawn.

and well too, she toured before.

She is great. Maybe she just had a bad show Wendy, or mary is right. sooo many people hate on entertainers.

i saw emii TWICE at SXSW……she sang live and performed her ass off even tho she was sick… its on youtube and her live performances are too, she is for REAL!!!…..i think you saw the wrong person!!!! she plays instruments too so either u saw the wrong person or your just mad that she’s awesome.. emii is great

I saw this chick at SXSW. She was really bad and boring to watch. I saw a lot of talented females rock out at the festival…she was not one of them. Seriously, my friends and I had no clue why they still book generic pop garbage like this. Give me a girl who can play guitar and sing live anyday.

@John Emii is an ACTUAL artist. If you actually looked then you’d see that she does write and she does play instruments… and she’s been doing it for a long time. I saw her when she was on tour with Daydream on Autopilot, a few years ago… I think the difference between then and now is that Now, she’s getting exposure to thousands and thousands more people…

….. and within those thousands are people like you who make false assumptions based on very limited knowledge.

I hate people that think they know something after putting no effort into learning… AKA “I saw 30 seconds of something on YouTube, and that means I know EVERYTHING about that something because YouTube is THE WORLD!”… seriously, get over yourself.

Emii ROCKS.
