Sneak Peek At Me And Orson Welles

We had the chance to see “Me And Orson Welles” over the weekend, and we definitely recommend it. The movie starring Zac Efron, Christian McKay, and Claire Danes really captured the old-school feel of New York Broadway and left us with a warm fuzzy feeling inside wanting to head to the Big Apple. It was also nice to see Zac Efron venture away from his Disney past (although he does still play a charming high school student). Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs Wins At The Box Office

“Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs” has taken over the box office! The 3-D animated flick featuring the voices of Anna Faris, Bill Hader, James Caan and Andy Samberg brought in just over $30 million over the weekend putting everyone else to shame (ahem, “Jennifer’s Body”). This was Sony’s highest grossing opening weekend for an animated film to date. We haven’t seen it yet, but it’s definitely on our list along with “The Informant!”

Harold & Kumar Return

More Harold & Kumar! Warner Bros. has announced that the next installment of the hilarious flick will be called A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas. The film will hit theaters on November 5^th, 2010. We suspect most of the audience will have the munchies.

Move over Fast & Furious…Miley is # 1! The tween idol took over the big screen this holiday weekend with the release of Hannah Montana: The Movie. The Disney flick ruled the box office by bringing in a whopping 34 million bucks. We haven’t had time to see it yet. Have you?

Race To Witch Mountain Premiere With Steve Rushton

Go behind the scenes at the Race to Witch Mountain premiere in Hollywood with Steve Rushton! Steve has two songs featured on the film’s soundtrack and a cameo in the movie alongside Miley Cyrus. Check out the red carpet footage to get up close and personal with the stars including Dwayne Johnson and Alexander Ludwig as well as some words with director Andy Fickman.

Aidan Back to SATC?

Let the countdown begin to the Sex And The City movie sequel! We were thrilled that Carrie ended up with Big in the first flick, but it would definitely be nice to see Aidan return in the next installment to stir up the pot.

John Corbett (aka Aidan) recently spoke to Access Hollywood about his feelings on the film. ”If something came my way, I’d jump on it,” he said. ”But I think Aidan’s come and gone from that show. I think it’s really more about the girls and Carrie and Big now, so I don’t think there’s a place for him in there.”

We sort of agree, but it would be awesome if they brought him back! It’s good to know that he would be up for reprising the role. What do you think?

Where The Wild Things Are Trailer

We just checked out the trailer for the new Where The Wild Things Are movie and if it doesn’t look PopAwesome we don’t know what does! The movie was directed by Spike Jonze and the screenplay was written by him and Dave Eggers (A Heartbreaking Work Of Staggering Genius). Jonze wowed us with his use of puppets rather than special effects to create the Wild Things — AMAZING!
