Talent show juggernaut American Idol, now in its 9th season, has named its top 24 finalists. For a show that has produced a gaggle of stars it is almost safe to assume that somewhere in this mix is a future Grammy, Tony or Oscar winner. Wow! We have to admit, it’s kinda awesome when we think about it. We’ve always loved this show and are excited to see the new Top 24 bring down the house. So, who’s our favorite so far? From what we’ve seen this far (and you know they haven’t really given us enough of everyone yet) so our early favorites are — Andrew Garcia who did a fab acoustic version of “Straight Up” during Hollywood week (which also reminded us that we really miss Paula), Casey James who was kinda cute until Kara made him take off his shirt during first round auditions, and Haeley Vaughn because she’s absolutely different with her dreams to be one of the first African American Pop-Country stars!
